Barum Czech rally Zlín is a long-term tradition rally that will be organized for its 39th year. The rally sport is an extremely popular sporting line in the Czech Republic that is expressed by crowds of enthusiastic fans, approximately about 200 000 people, standing along the route of special stages. This automobile rally is situated in Moravian town Zlín and since 1983 has became a part of European Rally Championship and since 2007 also a part of Intercontinental Rally Challenge with the considerable medial support of Eurosport. Concerning last year there were 98 competitors from 11 European countries from which 10 drivers with priority of FIA B and 21 cars of S2000 category occurred on the start. This amount of starting S2000 cars was the world record. The overall win was reached by the Belgian drivers Freddy Loix and Robin Buysmans with Peugeot 207 S 2000 of Kronos Racing.

Masters of Rock is a big heavy metal festival in Czech Republic. The main styles represented on this festival are power, speed and heavy metal, though the production tries to make the fest more open for other rock and metal styles as progressive rock/metal, hardcore, death metal or even ska. It takes place in Vizovice, Czech Republic and in the past has featured bands such as Manowar, Sweet, Hammerfall, Stratovarius, Helloween, Gamma Ray, Nightwish, Rhapsody of Fire, Kreator, Edguy, Rage, Apocalyptica, Within Temptation, Children of Bodom and many more. The 2005 attendance was over 20,000, the 2006 one over 25,000 and finally the 2007 was over 30,000. The festival is held every summer and the Winter morphosis takes place in December in the town of Zlín. The 2009 edition took place on July 9–12.
